Try this first

These four fix a surprising number of calls.

1

Check the breaker

A tripped breaker is the most common cause of a dead outlet, appliance, or light circuit. Find your panel and flip any tripped breaker fully off, then back on.

2

Reset the GFCI outlet

GFCI outlets — common in bathrooms, kitchens, and garages — have a small reset button. Press it firmly. One tripped GFCI can knock out several outlets on the same circuit.

3

Reset the garbage disposal

If the disposal hums or does nothing, press the small red reset button on the bottom of the unit under the sink. Wait 15 minutes if it's hot to the touch before resetting.

4

Check the garage door sensors

If the door won't close, the safety sensors near the floor may be misaligned or blocked. Make sure nothing is in the path and that both sensor lights are solid (not blinking).

Paying rent

Rent is due on the 1st of each month and is late after the 3rd. We prefer online payment — it's the fastest and most reliable way to pay. We do not accept cash.
